Dothi Healthcare respects the privacy of participants, families, representatives, referrers, workers and website visitors. We may collect information directly from you, through website forms, telephone calls, email, service delivery and documents you provide. With appropriate authority, we may also receive information from a family member, nominee, Support Coordinator, plan manager, health professional, another provider or another person involved in your support.
Why we collect and use information
We use personal information to respond to enquiries and referrals, assess whether we can provide a service, arrange and deliver supports, communicate with participants and authorised representatives, maintain service records, manage billing and NDIS claims, meet safety and regulatory obligations, respond to feedback or complaints, recruit workers and operate our business.
Sensitive and health information
Health and disability information is sensitive information. Dothi Healthcare will only collect and use sensitive information where it is reasonably necessary for our functions or activities and where consent or another lawful basis permits us to do so.
When information may be disclosed
Where necessary and lawful, information may be disclosed to people or organisations involved in delivering or administering supports, such as authorised family members or nominees, Support Coordinators, plan managers, workers and contractors, health or allied health professionals, the NDIA, the NDIS Quality and Safeguards Commission, insurers, professional advisers, technology providers, or government and emergency services where required.

Dothi Healthcare takes reasonable steps to protect personal information from misuse, interference, loss, unauthorised access, modification or disclosure. Information may be held electronically and, where required, in paper records. Access is limited to people who need the information for legitimate business or service-delivery purposes.
